Was fortunate enough to have  pontoon boat to take out this weekend. Weather was rainy in morning, but ended up nice and warm on Sunday so we cruised down the river, fished some with no bites (still a little cold for most species). Dog had some fun though.

Monday was nicer from the get go, but chilly and windy. we went out on a local lake (Lake Iroquois). Wind made anchoring problematic so had to get into some protected areas. Caught a few fish on worms including a nice HEAVY Largemouth Bass. They were only hitting on worms, lures were useless, again I think the waters still too cold and they are not that aggressive yet. Putting the boat back on the trailer when windy was a real chore, took up about 45 mins.
