I agree it was not so bad the first few times but it just takes so much time to scan each planet.

Have now played for +20 hours, and the game only gets better. Each mission feels thought through, side-quests well worth the time.
And good humor - listening to a human and a turian throwing a bachelor-party for a solarian is hilarous.  Grin

Only drawback so far is resource-gathering. It is fun the first 5-10 times, now I wish for an automated fuction.
You need resources to research new stuff. The gathering is done by manually scanning planets from space, and launching probes when you find the minerals.

I thought the same, and waited for some reviews.

Forget the Mako, I have played for 10 hours and not seen it  yet. I guess there will be a vehicle, since you can configure vehicle-controls, but hopefully it is very sparse.

You can navigate more easily on places. At least I think so. At the beginning, Citadel was too vast, in ME1.

Most important of all - forget all the lonely places on desert moons, where all locations looked exactly the same. This time around places are move vivid, and individual. To me this is the biggest difference.

There are other improvements, but these are the ones most noticable for me.

I am reluctant to get this as I was not all that impressed with the first.

Splendid. If you liked ME1, you will certainly enjoy ME2. All changes I have seen so far have been for the better. I play it on PC of course. Smiley
