I have been playing IC for a few months now. Mainly COOP on the FFS server or IFC4. It's been alot of fun and the maps are pretty good. A few can get mundane with extremely long tunnels and E50 at every corner but other than that games are challenging and the players are great.

Advanced Warfare was exactly like DF Extreme, even with the same maps. Also, too easy and not challenging. I felt the IC mod was the best of the mods, and I prefer it even over plain JO.

I never tried AW, but I like AW2 much better than Reality Mod and perhaps even more than International Conflict Mod. It's all about the content, AW2 doesn't really play any different than IC or plain JOe.

I can confirm you need Joint Ops installed. If you try to install it on a system without joint ops it comes up with an error about missing the JO registry key.

Yes it has its own folder and files and I also do not know if JOe needs to be installed first, one would think so but not tested by me either.
"Would you like to play a game?" Sometime.

Well, correct me if I am wrong, but Advanced Warfare does not appear to be a mod but a complete game?
It installs in its own directory and has its own game files, is JO even required to play I wonder? Still need to test this.
I kind of like it in any event. Graphics are old compared to today's game, but its never been about that. Anxious to get back to playing COOP with others. Giving Spyder the AW download today for him to try out.
I played only one SOLO map, and the flame thrower definitely adds a new element to the game!

I have downloaded AW2 Advanced Warfare 2, this is a Mod for Joint ops and is still very active. Lots of great Coop maps included with mod DL and many more to download. And they have a FB page...
